It seems as though we need a campaign to explain to those wearing face masks that you need to grunt and mumble louder if you want people to hear what you are babbling about .

It used to be "spokesman" then it became "spokesperson" but given I haven't heard a man in this role for yonks perhaps it should just be "spokeswoman" now.
